Bradley W. Skolnik

Brad practices mainly in the areas of securities regulation, financial services and corporate litigation. He worked from 1994-2002 as Indiana Securities Commissioner, improving the climate for small businesses to raise capital for investment and taking action against firms and individuals that fraudulently targeted Hoosier investors.

Recently, the federal government appointed Brad as an independent monitor, and subsequent receiver, to oversee the operation of an Indiana brokerage firm accused of violating federal securities laws in connection with the sale of church bonds.

Brad graduated with a doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington.

Brad also completed a one-year term as president of the North American Securities Administrators Association (NASAA), the umbrella organization of state and provincial securities regulators in the United States and Canada. As NASAA president, Brad called upon state regulators to streamline state securities regulation and modernize to meet the needs of the global electronic marketplace.
