Charles R. Mercer Jr

Charles R. Mercer, Jr., of counsel, has practiced administrative law for several years. For the past fifteen years, Chuck served as Regulatory Attorney and Lobbyist for Sprint, where he handled all Indiana Utility Regulatory proceedings. He has also served as Director of External Affairs for GTE (now Verizon), Chairman of the Board of the Indiana Telecommunications Association, and Chairman of the Board of InTRAC.

Chuck earned his B.S. degree from Indiana University and a J.D. from the Indiana University School of Law. In his early career, he served as Administrative Law Judge at the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission and was also Deputy Utility Consumer Counselor in The Office of the Utility Consumer Counselor.

Chuck is currently a registered lobbyist before the Indiana General Assembly and is a member of the Indiana State Bar Association. He continues to serve on the Board of Directors for Wireless 911.
