The courtroom is not Mary's preferred venue for solving the client's problems. "Although I am a trial lawyer and enjoy trying cases, I am happiest when I can successfully negotiate a resolution prior to any lawsuit being filed," she says.

Mary's clients are owners and representatives of businesses of all sizes in several fields. "I like the variety of my cases and that each one is a challenge," she says. "I really enjoy learning about my clients' businesses and understanding how those businesses work. It's critical to helping them succeed."

Mary earned her doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.

Mary is an avid camper who likes to get away from it all by spending a few days in the wilderness, specifically at campsites throughout the state of Indiana.

"I like the fact that it gives my family a chance to really be together, away from all the distractions of television and technology," she says.
