Peter B. Stewart

Peter believes his role is to serve as an advocate for his client—in and outside of the courtroom.

Peter has spent much of his career in courtrooms defending insurance clients. His career highlights include successful product liability defense work for several manufacturing companies, including high-profile jury trial judgments in favor of clients Steiger Tractor Co., B & B Quality Rebuild Inc. and G.M. Diehl Machine Works.

Peter also has been successful in developing a strong defense for his clients that encourages the opposition to settle the case before it goes before a jury.

Peter received his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Bloomington.

Peter, father to three children and grandfather to six, is the son of the late James J. Stewart, one of the founding partners of Stewart & Irwin. In his free time, he enjoys golfing.
