Dick has tried more than 50 successful jury trials.

In the past 20 years, Dick has represented numerous communications companies, including competitive local exchange carriers, cable providers, interexchange carriers, Internet service providers, wireless providers and large corporate users before the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission, state and federal courts. Dick obtained his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis, while working full time to put himself through the law program.

When he's not in the courtroom or working on telecommunications and utility litigation and administrative matters, Dick is climbing some of the highest mountains in the lower 48 states or participating in endurance athletic events.

Dick was the 2004 president of the board for the Eagle Creek Park Foundation. He also serves on the Holy Family Services Advisory Council, of which he is the immediate past president. Dick also chaired the Utility Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association in 2003.

"I am an endurance athletic event junkie, i.e. triathlons, marathons, cross country skiing and long distance cycling, which I have always felt complements my ability to endure the rigors of contentious legal disputes."
