 THE LAW FIRM OF STEWART & IRWIN, P.C. ANNOUNCES EQUITY SHAREHOLDER AS NEW CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD AND PRESIDENT OF THE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL OF INDIANA

Douglas R. Brown, equity shareholder and executive committee member of Stewart & Irwin, P.C. has been named Chairman of the Board and President of the International School of Indiana.

Doug is also Chairman of Stewart & Irwin's Governmental Affairs, Gaming Law, and International Law practice groups. He has been named by the Indianapolis Business Journal one of Indianapolis' leading and most influential lawyers, and one of Indiana's "Super Lawyers" by Indianapolis Monthly Magazine. Indiana's late Governor Frank O'Bannon named Doug a "Sagamore of the Wabash", the highest honor which can be bestowed on a private citizen, representing a personal tribute to those who have rendered a distinguished service to the State or the Governor.  He was also named a Distinguished Fellow of the Indianapolis Bar Association.

Doug is a longtime member of the Capital Improvement Board of Managers of Marion County, comprised of nine community leaders responsible for the ownership, financing and operation of the Indiana Convention Center, Lucas Oil Stadium, the RCA Dome, Conseco Fieldhouse and Victory Field.

Doug earned his doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.
