Jim Brauer, Equity Shareholder and Executive Committee Member, has been selected for inclusion on the 2009 Super Lawyers list.  You will find this list published in the March, 2009 issue of the Indianapolis Monthly and the Indiana Super Lawyers magazine.  Jim was also selected in 2008.   The selection process includes peer nominations and independent research of candidates. 

Jim represents physicians and health care providers and has tried more than 40 medical malpractice cases to juries over the last 25 years.

Jim began focusing almost exclusively on medical malpractice cases in the late 1970’s after Stewart & Irwin partners played a significant role in drafting the Indiana Medical Malpractice Act.  He also handles complex commercial and insurance litigation. 

Jim holds a doctor of jurisprudence degree from the Indiana University School of Law, Indianapolis.
